There have been hundreds of books written by different authors, all on the subject of the evidences of divine inspiration of this scripture. <A href="http://www.commonsenseministries.com">Is the Bible true</A>? This is greatest question that many people have asked themselves over a considerable period of time. Many people hold different opinion on this issues. Bibles are mainly used by the Christians and they do firmly believe it is holy as it was written by God himself through his prophets and servants.
Those who do not believe in its validity claim it to be misleading. The Muslims for instance have been the critiques of the scripture since it differs with their version. The Christians on the other hand have a strong faith on the holy book and trust it to be the guide of every human being.
The holy book is a library of books believed by Christians and Judaism. There is no one bible that exist, but various types by different authors. The contents of bible for Christians and Judases varies since their canonical text are not similar. The arrangement of these books in the book of God canons differs for different believers and may add other books, combine the books or add additional information to it.
The Christian bible has 66 books while the Catholics have 73 books. The believers because of this have thus been questioning on the originality of the holy book. God did not give out a complete book and said it was the scripture but rather left it to his close people to write with his guidance. The writings were later combined in the churches to form a book which was named as the bible and was to be strictly adhered to by those who believe in it. The accuracy of these writings was questioned since human beings are thought to be biased.
The Holy Spirit provided an inspiration to authors to write the revelation of god to human kinds but did not give them a complete word (bible). These books were combined by the church to form a single authoritative sacred scripture and named it the word of the lord. The authors can however be biased in one way hence May raising questions whether the bible is accurately written.The translation of word into different languages can lead to omission of some scripts or even distort the original message. The contents of the canon will thus come in many different forms hence leading to differences in versions.
The scriptures is the most reliable place to turn for findings the key to a life of love and good works. It is used by its believers to guide them on their daily endeavors. The book has had a greater influence on laws, art, ethics and music in the world civilization than any other book in history. Majority of greatest leaders and thinkers in history have affirmed the truth and the Impact of holy scripture hence increasing the credibility of the book of God.
The authors of the holy book are believed to have been righteous people who were very close to God and lived an exemplary life which touched many people lives. In addition several prophesies have been consistent from the old testament to the New Testament. For instance the Old Testament prophesied on the coming of the messiah (the son of God) which came to pass in the New Testament.
It is an individual who is believed to give the credibility of these holy scriptures. It is faith that makes a person to give a view on the setting of this book of God. More information is however believed to be included in the Quran. Believing the scripture is optional to each individual depending on their judgment.
