Putting them into high temperatures is also a way of killing any germs and viruses which are left in the objects after use.
Everything people does have a price to pay hence some things should be avoided. Piercings do cause immune weakening and people have high risks of having diseases when they shared objects are used without disinfecting them. Freedom comes with responsibility hence the freedom people have should not be misused to cause harm to their health.
