One of the must haves that I would suggest anyone take on a trip is baby wipes. They can be used to a variety of different ways and are perfect for on the go. You can purchase them in little packs so they can easily slip into a backpack.

If you are traveling on a cruise ship, always use the stairs. There is an abundance of food on board the ship, so it can be easy to gain a little weight while you are on your vacation. Try to keep some of it off by using the stairs instead of the elevators. It will give you some exercise and help you feel a little better about all that great food you've been eating!

To avoid angering the passenger sitting behind you on the plane, make sure to look behind you before reclining your seat. By checking that there is sufficient room to recline first, you will avoid many of the frequent mishaps that come from inconsiderate recliners, such as: spilled drinks, broken laptop screens, and bruised knees.

To pack light while traveling, make time to plan ahead. Lay articles of clothing out before you pack, and make sure that each top can go with more than one bottom. Bring clothes that are comfortable and easy to wash, in case you need to do laundry on the road. Think carefully about the shoes you bring. It is best to wear your bulkiest items on the flight, to make more room in your luggage.
