Is A Woman A Superior Car Salesman?

Salesmen have been known for being slick and dishonest. Many movies portray a car sales person as tricky and deceptive. There are several dealerships that have gone a long way in changing this belief. Traditionally, car salesmen have made a living from the commission of the sales. Thus a sale is critical for making a living.
Over a long period of time, the old adage Let the buyer beware has been in use. Knowing your cars is critical when selecting a used vehicle.
Though not all car salesmen are this way, there are a few in the market that make it necessary for you to be wary. Car salesman come in all shapes and sizes. Some are smooth talkers. Others give it to you straight. There are others that don't tell if not asked. It's also true, that their women car salesman as well as men. Are women better car salesmen than men?
It is a fact that many women are not for the idea to find a car using a salesman. However, they are less apprehensive when the salesman turns to be a woman. A woman would understand what the another woman's desires.
In addition, most women have a softer approach. That tends to draw people in rather than send them off running. And in many cases, this is led to far more sales to women. Women have the ability to listen better as they also want to be heard. This is the reason women prefer dealing with their counterparts.
Another consideration is the put down most women feel when the male salesman says "shouldn't your husband me with you?" With women salesman, you're not going to get that. They assume that you know what you're doing when you come to their car lot by a car. Additionally, these women have been through this and understand what you are going through.
Women trust other women. They feel that they understand them much better. Empathy is one thing that is very significant when it comes to sales. Sales is really about emotion. Women know how to use emotion much better than men.
Most men will deal with a woman salesman. They aren't intimidated by a women salesmen as they assume they know more. That's an advantage to the woman salesman, especially an honest one, who just wants to do a good job and earn a day's pay.
